Guide to Rite Aid

Most freebies at Rite Aid will require you to sign up for the Single Check Rebate program. Once you’ve signed up for the Single Check Rebate (SCR) program you’ll be set to start earning freebies!

To show an example, the week of 8/9/09 Rite Aid offered the Scotch Pop Up Tape Dispenser for $2.49 with a SCR of $2.49. I had an online coupon for $2.00 off. They also had Pledge Pet Hair Fabric Sweepers on sale for $2.99. I had a $1.00 off coupon from a recent Sunday paper.

The transaction went like this:
Scotch Tape-$2.49
Pledge Fabric Sweeper-$2.99
Tax-$ .20
Total-$5.68
Coupon Total-$3.00
Total after Coupons-$2.68

After this transaction I logged into Rite Aid’s website and entered the date, register number and transaction number into the SCR page. I will be receiving a rebate of $2.49, making my total for both items just $.19!

Rite Aid collects your rebates from week to week and sends you your check when the rebate period ends. If you would like you can request your check earlier, but you can only request one rebate check per rebate period.
