$149 isn't cheap, but it's a great deal for a Wii game system. Walmart has a current offer on the Wii-pay $199 and instantly get a $50 Walmart Gift Card instantly. This offer is good through December 11th or while supplies last. Nintendo requires that the Wii sells for $199, so the only discounts available are through stores offering their own deals such as rebates or gift cards. This beats the best deal I've seen by $20.
