A listing of discounts I've seen so far on Christmas merchandise:
50% off at WalMart, Walgreens, Big Lots, Pier 1 and CVS
60% off at Michael's
70% off at True Value
75% off at Target, Lowe's and American Greetings
Discounts might vary from area to area-some stores allow local management to set their own discount schedule. I expect to see WalMart and Pier 1 go to 75% off tomorrow. Walgreens is advertising 50% off as "Final Clearance", but I imagine they'll go down to 75% off soon. CVS and Target will both have one or two days at 90% off, if there's anything left. Most other stores will send items to liquidators after they don't sell at 75%.
